On Saturday, Feb. 4th, bundle up in your raddest winter gear and put on your winter dancing boots. We're turning the city into our dance floor.
2:30PM - Assemble [Harvard Square]
3:00PM - Floating Silent Disco Dance Party [through the heart of Cambridge]
4:00PM - After party with hot food & drinks from Whole Foods Market, Stone Hearth Pizza Co. and DAVIDsTEA [at a secret cozy location]
Meet up outside the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. From there, we'll embark on a 1-mile "silent" dance walk while listening to music in headphones broadcast through the EchoMe real-time music platform. Afterwards, we'll warm up at a cozy after party location with hearty food, warm drinks and good times.
Admission is free w/ RSVP. First 40 people get free earmuff headphones. Dress to express and stay warm!
***** What is a floating silent disco dance party? *****
A floating silent disco dance party is when a group of people download an epic 60-minute mix, meet up, put on headphones, press play at the same time, and dance around the city together. It's an amazing, synchronous, goofy, loud-on-the-inside, silent-on-the-outside, hour of joy.
Dance starts at 3:00pm SHARP. Be there early, because once it starts we'll be on the move!
